Bringing Puppetry to Life in Detroit
Founded by James Abbott in the summer of 2024, Puppet Karaoke Detroit was born from a passion for unique, interactive storytelling.
With the creative support of Matrix Theater and Flying Cardboard Theater, we launched our first event in January 2025. Since that night, it has been a smashing hit—blending comedy, music, and the art of puppetry into an unforgettable experience for the Detroit community.
